The Arbat horror movie that involved a life of a 19-year-old Buddhist monk has been banned, the film board announced via its twitter.

The film was scheduled to be screened on Thursday. Its media screening round Tuesday was also cancelled.
The board reasoned that the movie depicted improper behaviour of Buddhist monks and novices.
The film producer, Sahamongkol Filsm, can appeal against the decision.
