Haze from Indonesia reaches Songkhla, Yala

Indonesian forest fire's smoke shrouded the southern provinces of Songkhla and Yala Tuesday but the levels of tiny particle dusts in the region didn't exceed a safety limit of 120 micrograms per cubic metre yet.

Songkhla reported the level at 94 micrograms, Yala at 80 micrograms and Narathiwat at 74 micrograms, Environment Region 16 Office director Halem Jehmarikan said Tuesday and urged people with respiratory diseases to be on guard.
