Nong Bua Lamphu leads forest reclamation efforts
Nong Bua Lamphu has become the first province in the Northeast to complete its goal of reclaiming a targeted amount forestland from encroaching investors.
The province has reclaimed 2,000 rai (320 hectares].
Its fifth and last mission was carried out yesterday when 100 policemen and Army officers cut down para-rubber trees on 555 rai of plantations in the mountainous Kao Kloy and Naklang national reserve forests in Suwannakhuha district.
The plantations were operated by 12 investors.
