NACC still waits for Army factfinding on park graft claims

National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) secretary-general Sansern Poljiak Wednesday said concerned people were free to file complaints with the NACC over alleged irregularities in the construction of the Rajabhakti Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan's Hua Hin

However, Sansern said he didn’t know the facts of this case yet. He couldn’t confirm if it related to authority abuse by officials and corruption or whether the money used in construction actually came from donations or state budget. He said the NACC would wait for a result of the Armyassigned factfinding committee’s probe – as the findings should have come out Wednesday under Army chief General Theerachai Nakwanich's seven-day timeframe.
