Pheu Thai calls for transparent probes into Rajabhakti Park scandal

The Pheu Thai Party Tuesday called on the government to conduct transparent probes into corruption scandal related to the Rajabhakti Park project.

The Pheu Thai noted that former Army chief Gen Udomdej Sitabutr, now deputy defence minister, had admitted that corruption had taken place but the corrupt money had been donated.
The party said in a press statement that the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the Office of Auditor General and the Royal Thai Police must conduct investigations into the project after Udomdej admitted that there was wrongdoing in the project.
