Interpol and Thai police hold summit on transnational vehicle crime

The Royal Thai Police (RTP) and the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) hosted a summit on transnational vehicle crime in hopes to obtain effective techniques for such crime suppression and prevention.
During the 2nd Interpol Global Conference on Vehicle Crime, held from Tuesday until Thursday at Bangkok’s Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, 150 law enforcement representatives and those from related private and international organisations from 60 countries would exchange ideas and forge co-operation for future tasks.
RTP chief Pol General Chakthip Chaijinda presided over the opening along with Interpol Secretary-General’s Office deputy director Jose de Garcia. The first such meeting was held in France’s Lyon in November of 2014.
