AMLO chief Sihanart transferred

The Cabinet Tuesday removed Sihanart Prayoonrat as the secretary-general of the Anti-Money Laundering Office.

He was instead transferred to become an advisor to the AMLO.
Sihanart has completed his four-year tenure as the AMLO secretary general and is required by the law to be replaced. Since he has two more years of service left before his mandatory retirement, the Cabinet decided to make him an advisor.
The recruitment process for the new AMLO chief has started.
