International rail service to Brussels resumes

Amsterdam - The first international train arrives in Brussels, a day after rail service was suspended due to the deadly terrorist attacks in the Belgian capital.

A high-speed Thalys train from Amsterdam reached Brussels at 7 am(0600 gmt), Dutch rail operator NS says.
Belgium's rail operator says it expects service to return to normal on Wednesday.
International rail service from several European cities, including the Eurostar line to London, was halted following the bombings at the city's international airport and at a subway station.
