After the case came to light, three police officers caught on camera firing at a car and beating up a student were dismissed from the force. They face charges of attempted murder and illegal detention.
Jarumporn said his initial checking found several flaws in terms of inspection of the scene, gunpowder residue test and ballistic test. He would later consider if the agency should take over this case, he said.
