Consumer confidence down again in March

Rising concerns over the drought drove consumer confidence down to a fivemonth low in March, with confidence in travel, doing business and purchasing power also softening, according to the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

The Consumer Confidence Index has been sliding for three straight months, dropping from 74.7 points in February to 73.5 last month. A level below 100 reflects weak consumer sentiment.
