Wissanu says hard to select additional referendum question

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Kreangam Thursday admitted that it would be difficult to choose an additional question to ask voters in the national referendum on the charter draft.

The National Legislative Assembly is scheduled to consider the referendum question Thursday. Earlier, the National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) agreed to propose to the NLA a referendum question as to whether the junta-appointed Senate should select the prime minister along with elected MPs during the five-year transition period.
