Ratchanok lands her third title of the year

Sensation Ratchanok Intanon continued her stellar year when the world No.4 and fourth-seeded Thai powered past old foe Tai Tzu Ying from Taiwan in the women’s singles showdown to reign supreme in the US$550,000 Celcom Axiata Malaysia Open World Superserie
The fantastic 21-14 21-15 victory over the world No.9 handed Ratchanok, the 2013 world champion and the current Asian winner, the third title of the year. Ratchanok has already captured the Thailand Masters in February and the India Open last week.
The win also improved the Ratchanok’s win-loss record performance against Tai Tzu Ying to 8-5. At the India Open, the Thai ace also pulled off a dramatic 2-1 win over the similar rival and went on her superb form to clinch the title.
