Three killed, five injured when pick-up falls off hillside road

Two men and a woman were killed when their pick-up truck fell off a road into a steep hillside in Chiang Mai’s Mae Chaem district late Monday night, police said.
Five other people were injured in the accident which happened shortly before 10:30 pm when rescue workers were alerted about the accident.
Police said the truck plunged into the steep roadside at a sharp curve on the Inthanon-Mae Chaem road apparently because the spot was dark and the driver was not familiar with the road.
