Thailand not persue Asean's stand over Philippine, China dispute: Prayut

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said Tueday that Thailand is looking at the China-Philippine South China Sea dispute case in Asean aspect to make the disputed sea “cooperative and trustworthy”.
Thailand would also not push for mutual consensus during the upcoming Asean ministerial meeting in Laos during 21-26 July, Prayut said. “But we would see how Asean countries think,” he said “But for now, we should reserve our position and let [the contestants] do their own talks.”
