Foreign observers to monitor August 7 referendum

Thirty-one observers from international organisations will observe the August 7 referendum on charter draft, Election Commissioner Somchai Srisutthiyakorn revealed on Tuesday.

Their observation will begin from August 5-8, Somchai posted on his Facebook.
The foreign observers will be allowed to monitor in all polling booths they want, but observers from Thai organisations, including PNET and the youth network; We Watch, cannot go into the booths as the referendum law is not allowed to do so.
