Two bomb attacks were launched in the downtown of bustling seaside tourist-destination Hua Hin Thursday night, killing one Thai woman, injuring ten foreign tourists and 11 Thais.

The two bombs went off just 30 minutes apart in the area located with several beer bars and frequented by both Thai and foreign tourists.
The two spots are located near the Hua Hin Temple and Hua Hin police station and the explosions were just just 50 metres apart.
Police said the first explosion occurred at 10:15 pm in front of the Johnny Bar behind the Hua Hin Municipality School. The second bomb went off in the front of the Rain Tree Bar.
The injured were rushed to the Hua Hin Hospital, the Bangkok Hua Hin Hospital and San Paolo Hua Hin Hospital.
An unidentified Thai woman later died at the Hua Hin Hospital because of sustained injuries.
A local resident told police that he saw two foreigners riding a motorcycle around the area shortly before the two bombs went off. Police have checked footage from security cameras and saw the two men riding a motorcycle before the explosions happened.
A police source said two men from a southern province have also been detained for questioning.
Following the explosions, police, troops, bomb disposal officers and rescuers rushed to the scene. All the shops were told to close and tourists were advised to return to their hotels, prompting the normally-bustling area to turn quiet.
At 1 am, Permanent Secretary for Interior Ministry issued an urgent order to provincial governors nationwide to step up security especially at tourist destinations and transport terminals and stations.
