Four Army officers injured in helicopter crash

Two pilots and two mechanics on-board an Army helicopter were slightly injured when their helicopter crash-landed in Narathiwat's Mueang district Friday morning.

The accident happened at 8:30 am at the helicopter landing pad of the Narathiwat Taskforce.
The pilots lost control of the helicopter that spun when it was landing. The four escaped before the helicopter exploded and caught fire.
The helicopter was about to take 46th Ranger Regiment Commander Col Pisit Charnlekha on an inspection trip to Narathiwat's Chanae district.
