Three policemen killed, another injured in Yala bomb attack

Muslim insurgents ambushed a police pick-up in Yala’s Krong Penang district Friday with a homemade bomb, killing three officers and injuring another.
The attack happened on a road in Benya village in Tambon Purong.
Police said insurgents detonated the bomb when the police pick-up truck arrived at the spot.
The blast’s impact hurled the pick-up into the air. The three officers died at the scene.
