Police raid nine target sites in Bangkok

Hundreds of police and soldiers on Tuesday morning searched nine targeted locations in Bangkok's Ramkhamheang, Hua Mark and nearby sites in a crackdown on criminals particularly those involved in drug trafficking and national security offences.

Metropolitan Area 4 chief Pol Maj General Nanthachat Supamongkol said this operation was in line with the government's policy to suppress on criminals. This was the second operation in the past seven days.
The search was done following a report of possible car bomb attack in the capital city later this month.
The operation was also joined by the "Arintaraj" police special weapons and tactics force as some locations were reportedly linked to armed drug dealers.
