PM praises thousands who joined singing of Royal Anthem.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has thanked and expressed admiration for the thousands who took part in the mass Royal Anthem-singing event at Sanam Luang, especially those who had travelled from afar and arrived very early in the morning.
Government spokesman Lt-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd quoted the PM as saying that because everyone shared the same heart, and despite the burning sun and the heat, the people had created one of the greatest and most impressive spectacles showing Thais’ respect and loyalty to the late King.
The video recording from the mass-singing event would be shown on television stations as well as cinemas across the country, the government spokesman said.
