Jatuporn’s lawyer, Winyat Chartmontree said Friday that he submitted the second bail application to the court on Thursday but the court rejected it on ground that there was no reason to convince the court to approve his temporary release.
His first attempt to be released on bail was rejected by the court on October 25.
On October 11, the court revoked Jatuporn’s bail on ground that he failed to meet the condition for his temporary release by attacking the government and the National Council for Peace on Order via Peace TV website, YouTube and other media. The court found that Jatuporn, the chairman of the Untied Front of Democracy against Dictatorship, tried to incite unrest via his online TV programmes.
