Obama calls for unity regardless of outcome of US vote
Washington - US President Barack Obama calls for Americans to stay united, regardless of the outcome of the ongoing presidential election.
The election was exhausting, stressful, and sometimes downright weird, Obama says in a video the US news website Buzzfeed released on Twitter.
But: "No matter what happens, the sun will rise in the morning and America will still be the greatest nation on Earth" he says.
After the divisive election, Obama says citizens should not consider themselves Democrats or Republicans, but rather fellow Americans.
