Interpol tests worldwide evidence-exchange network

Bamberg, Germany - The international police organization Interpol is testing a worldwide network of judicial authorities, which is designed to improve the exchange of evidence, among other things.

While already a reality in Europe, such an exchange has not yet been possible on a global scale, Interpol General Secretary Juergen Stock said Thursday at a lecture in Bamberg, Germany.

Based in Lyon, Interpol connects the police forces of more than 190 member states.
