Flash flood kills five-year-old in Nakhon Si Thammarat

A flood from forest runoffs in southern province Nakhon Si Thammarat’s Chulabhorn district Friday morning killed a five-year-old boy. 

Peerasak Homdech was walking near his home when the flood swept him away and he was found dead about an hour later.
The pre-dawn flood in Tambon Na Mor Boon prompted the Fourth Army Region’s 15th Artillery Division to send in soldiers to aid residents move belongings and livestock to higher ground.
