Nakhon Si Thammarat airport to remain closed Tuesday, Wednesday

The Nakhon Si Thammarat International Airport, which has been closed since Friday, will remain closed Tuesday and Wednesday as its runways are still partially under water, the airport chief said Monday.
Suksawat Sukhawanno said the runways are still flooded at the spot for planes to make u-turn and some of the landing lights are still under water.
The airport has announced the suspension of operations twice from Friday to Saturday and Sunday to Monday as its runways have been inundated.
