SCB to briefly shut down ATM system for upgrade

The Siam Commercial Bank will temporarily shut down its ATM system from Friday at 11 pm to Saturday at 5 am to upgrade its ATM system and enhance its service quality, the bank announced Tuesday.

During the service suspension customers will be unable to use ATM, debit, or credit cards at SCB and other bank ATMs/CDMs, and will be unable to use debit cards to make payments via EDC.  However, customers can use SCB credit cards (via EDC) at merchants as usual.  Internet Banking (Easy Net), Mobile Banking (Easy App), and UP2ME will operate normally, and customers will be able to transfer to SCB accounts, but not other bank accounts.
The SCB urges its customers to plan their transactions in advance to avoid being unable to make a transaction. Customers can SCB Call Center at 02 777 7777 for more information.
