Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Tuesday said the draft constitution will be taken back from the Palace for further amendment on the provisions related to the royal power.

He said the overall process for the amendment would take about three months to complete.
In early November, the government submitted the final constitutional draft for royal endorsement, and the post-coup interim charter states that His Majesty the King has 90 days – by February 6 – to decide as to whether to endorse it.
Sources said the National Legislative Assembly will have to amend the interim charter to pave way for the amendment of the new charter draft.
