A video clip of a street dog apparently waiting to cross a road with a pedestrian after its attempt to brace vehicles by itself failed drew over 500,000 views on Facebook in less than a day.
The clip was posted on YouLike Facebook page on Wednesday and about 21 hours later at press time, it generated 562,000 views and more than 27,000 Facebook users reacted to the clip.
Thai Rath Online quoted Sukuma Sukprom, the girlfriend of the owner of the clip, as saying it was shot on Tuesday in front of the Supachalasai Stadium.
She said she was selling goods at the spot and saw the dog crossing the road everyday. She said if the street was too busy, the dog knew how to wait for a pedestrian to take it to cross the road.
The clip showed the dog waited for several minutes and turned left and right. After it realized it was unable to cross the road alone, it walked to a man and waited with him and followed him to cross the road.
