Suwaphan says authorities already did all to avoid violence

Despite a tussle between Dhammakaya Temple monks and police Monday morning, Justice Minister Suwaphan Tanyuvadhana said authorities had done a good job in keeping control at the controversial temple.

Suwaphan reacted to the clash in which a 58-year-old woman got injured as she fell and was stepped on Monday morning.
However, Suwaphan admitted that authorities could not thoroughly inspect the temple because the area was huge.
“We have done our best and tried to avoid violence, otherwise the situation could go beyond our control,” he said.
