Minor International ‘confident’ of business growth

Minor International is confident its business this year will grow strongly despite its net profit dropping by 2.7 per cent in 2016 to Bt4.57 billion, chairman and group CEO William Heinecke said.

He added that nearly two months into the year, the company had already seen many positive signs, including of Thailand’s strong economic rebound.
To date, Mint’s hotels are reporting growth in revenue per available room compared with the same period in 2016, while Minor Food saw positive same-store-sales growth across most brands in January.
