Nan Airport upgrading runway to meet international standard

The work should enable the airport to meet International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards, according to DOA director general Darun Saengchai. 
Under the budget, the department secured a contractor through an bidding process for project construction work worth Bt17.97 million. 
Construction of the turning-pad began on December 31 last year and is set for completion on June 28.
