The Thanyaburi provincial court granted the bail on condition that he would refrain from making statements of incitement or grant interviews, and will not enter the controlled area declared under a junta order.
Police had objected to his release on bail.
The monk earlier heard the three charges against him: violating the junta order, incitement under the Criminal Code’s Article 116, and violation of the Computer Crime Act, as he surrendered to police at the Klong Luang precinct yesterday morning.

Four disciples carried signs calling for cancellation of the junta order that declared the temple a controlled area to apprehend former abbot Phra Dhammachayo for questioning at the Region 1 Border Patrol Police Bureau.
