DSI allowed to search suspected Dammachayo hideout

The embattled Dhammakaya Temple has finally agreed to allow the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to search its 130-rai Zone A and 196-rai Zone B as well as the Boon Raksa building behind the temple, on Friday.

Officers will formulate a search plan in the afternoon before carring out the search at the temple in Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok.
Officers have suspected that former abbot Phra Dhammachayo could be hiding in the six-storey Boon Raksa building.
It was expected the search could complete in the evening and officers would announce the result afterward.
