Army chief’s doubts about reconciliation talks

Army chief General Chalermchai Sithisart, as head of the sub-panel overseeing the conclusion of reconciliation talks, has admitted the work worries him given his lack of experience in the area but he believes satisfactory results will be achieved thanks to the experts on his panel.
Chalermchai’s panel is the third and final one on reconciliation-talks chain and is responsible for making a proposal aimed at achieving reconciliation.
The experts on his panel include Somkit Lertpaithoon from Thammasat University and Nanthawat Paramanan and Supachai Yawabhrapas from Chulalongkorn University.
