Amended ToR proposal for double-track railway projects

The board of directors of the State Railway of Thailand will on Tuesday ask the Cabinet to approve its amended terms of reference for double-track railway projects, said Prasarn Trairatvorakul, chairman of the super board in charge of government procurement.
Prasarn said the amended ToR would allow medium-sized contractors to participate in bidding for projects because the value of the contracts would be reduced from Bt10 billion to between Bt5 billion and Bt10 billion.
He said the amended ToR were for five double-track railway projects.
