Champs Elysees shooter was known terror suspect: police source
PARIS - The attacker who opened fire on police on Paris's Champs Elysees on Thursday was being investigated over his possible intention to kill police officers, sources close to the investigation said.
Police raided the man's home in a Paris suburb after the violence on the bustling, world-famous boulevard just days before the first round of France's presidential election.
