Explosion and large fire as uncontrolled car hits gas shop in Hat Yai

A speeding sedan lost control and crashed into a cooking-gas shop in the downtown Hat Yai district of Songkhla around 4am Sunday, resulting in an explosion and large fire.
Three individuals in the white Toyota Yaris car escaped in time with slight injuries. They were reportedly intoxicated.
There was no occupant in the cooking-gas shop at the mouth of Soi Rat-thit 11.
The three sedan occupants were driver Jamnong Pulsri, 32, Kongsak Chaiwong, 23, and Thanyamas Suwanno, 24.
It took one hour for firefighters and 10 fire engines to put out the blaze. Local electricity was cut off to ensure safety. Both the car and the shop were lost in the fire.
