Thai, Cambodian charged with smuggling sports outfits

A Thai man and his alleged Cambodian accomplice were nabbed very early on Sunday at a border checkpoint in Sa Kaew province over the smuggling of sports outfits.
These products violated the trademarks of several famous brands, including Nike and Adidas.
Police said Rungcharoen Rutangti, a 32-year-old Thai, and Nee Tee, a 30-year-old Cambodian, had more than 3,000 sets of outfits in their possession.
Both are now charged with smuggling products into Thailand with intent to evade paying
taxes.
The Cambodian suspect is also charged with illegally entering and living in Thailand.
