KBank helps Chinese visitors with K Plus Shop app

KBank senior executive vice president Patchara Samalapa and Pipavin Sodprasert, country manager for Ant Financial Services Group, operator of Alipay digital wallet payment, have unveiled the K Plus Shop mobile application.
Thailand’s first mobile banking app able to accommodate payment with the Alipay QR code is intended to facilitate the more than nine million Chinese who visit Thailand every year.
The service, which made its debut at Chatuchak Weekend Market, will be available nationwide next month.
On hand for the launch was Siripong Preutthipan, director of the State Railway of Thailand’s Land Development Project Administration Department.
