A fire broke out at a metal sheet and insulation-manufacturing plant in Nakhon Ratchasima's Sikhiu district on Saturday night seriously injuring one male worker.

The fire broke out at 11.30pm at the D Metalsheet 168 Co factory in Tambon Kud Noi and it took hours for 30 fire engines and 50 rescue workers to bring it under control.
Police probe initially found that the fire had spread from an insulation-manufacturing control room. They said some of the workers tried to put out the flames themselves, resulting in one of them receiving serious burns on his torso.
The injured man has not been named.
The factory also suffered a fire on January 16, when damage worth Bt150 million was reported.
