Fire engulfed a grocery store in a three-storey shophouse in Muang Nakhon Pathom late Thursday night.
No one was injured, but it took crews from 10 fire engines about an hour to bring the blaze under control.
Police said the store owned by Pongwut Apthanakul, 64, which occupied two units of the shophouse block near the Tang Sieng Huad Market, was gutted.
An electrical short circuit is suspected to be the cause.
