Royal Urn placed on funeral pyre
The Royal Urn of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej was placed on the Royal Funeral pyre or Phra Chittakathan at 2.12pm on Thursday.
It was raised onto the pyre after the third procession circulated three rounds counter-clockwise around the Royal Crematorium.
The symbolic cremation will be held at 5.30pm on Thursday, with the cremation scheduled for 10pm.
