Thousands of runners raise money for hospital
Some 5,000 people joined a charity run in Pathum Thani on Sunday morning and raised Bt10 million to buy medical equipment for, and offer aid to, underprivileged patients at Thammasat University Hospital.
The 5am run, held at the uiversity's Gymnasium 1 in Khlong Luang district to celebrate the hospital’s 30th anniversary, was joined by models from “The Face Thailand” and “The Face Man Thailand”.
People ran three distances: 5km, 10km or 21km.
