DHL Express receives security accolade
DHL Express has achieved a new milestone for having the most Freight Security Requirements (FSR) sites in Thailand from the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA). The certification is issued by SGS (Thailand) Limited, an independent TAPA-trained auditor to assure highest level of logistics security.
DHL’s Eastern Gateway Service Centre in Chachoengsao has become the 10th TAPA FSR-certified facility, marking the highest record of TAPA certified sites in the country, the company said.
TAPA certification is globally considered as one of the most well-known independent logistics and supply chain security certifications.
In Thailand, SGS (Thailand) Limited is the approved and authorised auditor by TAPA worldwide to carry out certified assessments against Freight Security Requirements (FSR), which are a common global standard for secure warehousing and storage that can be used in business or security agreement between buyers and logistics service providers.
