Seth Meyers kicks off 75th Golden Globes

This year's ceremony is seen as the first big opportunity for the industry to unite against a pervasive culture of sexual misconduct in Hollywood, and stars wore black on the red carpet to mark the occasion.

"It's 2018, marijuana is finally allowed and sexual harassment finally isn't. It's going to be a good year," the NBC late night presenter joked in his opening monologue.

"This was the year of 'big little lies' and 'get out' -- and also the television series "Big Little Lies" and the movie "Get Out," Meyers added, joking about the sexual harassment scandals that have rocked the industry.
