His Majesty sends 1,500 blankets to people in Phitsanulok

His Majesty the King sent 1,500 blankets to elderly and underprivileged people in two districts of Phitsanulok on Thursday as the cold spell continued.
King Rama X sent Phakkapong Thawipatm, chairman of the Phitsanulok branch of the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under the Royal Patronage, to give the blankets to 750 residents in Wang Thong district and 750 more in Chart Trakan district.
The blankets were handed out at two ceremonies. The first was held at the local development centre in Wang Thong in the morning, with the afternoon event held at the local development centre in Chart Trakan.
Phitsanulok conveyed His Majesty's message to the recipients, noting that the King had concerns for their plight during the cold spell.
