Lampang schoolgirls return found wallet and Bt100,000 in cash

Three schoolgirls will be presented with certificates of honour from the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 35 for having this week returned a wallet with Bt100,000 in cash to its rightful owner.

The girls discovered the wallet in front of Maesan Wittaya School in Lampang’s Hang Chat district on Monday evening, said office deputy director Alongkorn Prasansuk on Friday.
Schoolgirls Siriporn Tanpeng of Mathayom 2, Jinda Namasen of Mathayom 4, and Supattra Kaewmuangmul of Mathayom 4 - returned the lost-and-found wallet with huge cash to its owner, Suthin Kaewkhamfu.
Their retired teacher, Mukda Pansima, helped contact the man to arrange the hand-over.
Suthin offered the girls an award of Bt2,000 cash each, but they accepted only Bt1,000 each and took photos of the good deed as evidence.
