Furniture factory, four vehicles burn in Khon Kaen
A furniture factory in Khon Kaens’ Ban Phai district was engulfed by a massive fire that also damaged four vehicles early Thursday.
Ban Phai police station was alerted at 2am of the fire at the Rungruang Furniture factory in Tambon Nong Nam Sai.
Firefighters in 10 engines went to the scene and took about two hours to control the blaze after it swept through the entire building and destroyed two pickup trucks and two six-wheeled trucks in the area.
Pol Lt-Colonel Direkrit Panruansaen, deputy commander of Ban Phai police station, said no one was injured in the fire, which was believed to have been caused by short circuit.
