Krabi’s Huai To waterfall temporarily off-limits following days of heavy rain
Tourists on Monday were temporarily barred from visiting Huai To waterfall in Khao Phanom Bencha National Park in Krabi province, whose eight districts were put on watch for possible flash floods and landslides until Thursday following days of heavy downpours.
Park head Papawin Yanglang said the safety precautions followed a period of continuous rainfall over the Phanom Bencha mountain range – which covered Mueang, Ao Luek and Khao Phanom districts – and subsequent muddying of the water at Huai To waterfall.
