The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the promotion of Public Health Ministry deputy permanent secretary Tharet Kratnaiyarawisong to the post of secretary-general of the Food and Drug Administration.

The Cabinet also approved the transfers of nine other senior Public Health Ministry officials.
Among the transfers, Phanpimol Wipulakorn, deputy permanent secretary, becomes the director-general of the Health Department.

Dr.Kiartphum Wongrajit
Kiartphum Wongrajit, director-general of the Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Department, becomes director-general of the Mental Health Department.
Marut Jirasetsiri, deputy permanent secretary, becomes director-general of the Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Department.
Opas Karnkawipong, deputy permanent secretary, becomes director-general of the Medical Sciences Department.
Nattawut Prasertsiripong, inspector-general at the ministry, becomes director-general of the Health Service Support Department.
The transfers take effect on October 1.
